The Authority has an active Capital Investment Program that is designed to provide continuous improvement of the water delivery system to our customers. This program is a direct result of our Water Master Plan. This planning document provides a blueprint for capital investment in our system to ensure expenditures are completed timely and efficiently and within the framework of our overall financial plan. In 2008, the Authority has three major active projects in addition to numerous smaller projects throughout our service area. Overall, the Authority will spend approximately $5 million dollars (over $166 per customer) in direct investment into our water system in 2008.
