On Thursday, September 28, 2006, the North Penn Water Authority hosted an Open House to celebrate 40 years of continuous service to the community.  Various informational exhibits were displayed and guided tours were provided for those attending.  Poster boards highlighting the work done by all the departments and many old photographs and annual reports were displayed to help show the Authority’s history as well as recent innovations that set forth how well the Authority is positioned for providing present and future water service. 

The Authority wishes to thank all those who participated in and attended the 40th Anniversary celebration.  Congratulatory proclamations were received from Representative Bob Godshall, State Senator Rob Wonderling, and Congresswoman Allyson Schwartz, as well as a letter from Representative Kate Harper, all noting the service the North Penn Water Authority continuously provides to customers in their districts.  For our employees who do the work every day, for our Board members who provide guidance and make policy, for our predecessors who had the vision and the foresight to plan for customers’ future water needs, who built this organization into what it is today, for the elected officials and municipalities who support us and partner with us, and for our customers whom we have the privilege of serving your water needs – for all of you, we are most grateful.
